Antimony is heavy nonferrous metal and silvery in appearance and belongs to hexagonal crystal system, with the melting point of 630.5℃, Moh’s hardness of 3 and density of 6.69g/cm3. It is a poor conductor of heat and electricity. Antimony is fragile and easy to grind, and does not have malleability. At room temperature, it does not react with air or oxygen. Antimony is insoluble in water and hard to react with acid normally.
