On March 21, 2023, Zhao Zhenjun, Secretary-General of the Antimony Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, led a delegation of three members to visit the company for a research visit. They were accompanied by leaders including Chen Zhaoyue, Secretary of the company’s Party Committee; Lu Lei, Chairman of the Board; and Zhu Ruineng, Deputy General Manager.

At the seminar, Lu Lei, Chairman of the company, warmly welcomed the leadership from the Secretariat of the Antimony Industry Branch, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their ongoing support and guidance. The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on various topics, including the current status and future prospects of Yunnan Province's antimony industry, the domestic and international market dynamics, and product standards specific to the antimony sector. Attendees included Chairman Lu Lei, General Manager Hou Defa, Vice Presidents Zhu Ruineng and Hua Renbin, along with other senior executives. The meeting highlighted that, amid recent national policy adjustments, increasingly stringent requirements are being imposed on the non-ferrous metals industry—and by extension, the antimony sector—in areas such as safety, environmental protection, carbon emissions, and energy consumption. These new regulations are set to further elevate companies' operational and production costs, placing significant pressure on businesses. As a result, addressing these challenges, alleviating industry concerns, and helping companies enhance efficiency and competitiveness have become critical priorities—both today and well into the future. Finally, Secretary-General Zhao Zhenjun emphasized that he hopes Muliy Antimony Industry will continue to embrace a spirit of reform and innovation, relentlessly tackling bottlenecks in smelting technology to drive industrial upgrades and foster groundbreaking advancements. By aligning closely with national strategic shifts, the company is encouraged to actively expand its downstream processing capabilities, unlocking greater growth potential and positioning itself for sustained success in the evolving market landscape.
After the meeting, Secretary-General Zhao Zhenjun and his delegation toured the company’s smelting plant and new materials facility on-site, gaining a deep understanding of each production process. They also engaged in discussions with key personnel, offering valuable insights and recommendations on the company’s manufacturing operations and workflow. These suggestions provide crucial guidance to Muliy Antimony Industry as it tackles challenges, unlocks hidden potential, enhances efficiency, and strives for energy conservation and cost reduction.
The company’s Chairman expressed that they would carefully convey the Secretary-General’s directives and expectations throughout the organization, aiming to maximize revenue generation and operational efficiency while firmly pursuing the company’s ambitious goals.
