Over 200 representatives from antimony-producing companies, consumer enterprises, trading firms, universities, and research institutes across China participated in the conference. The event featured two key components: the first was the "Fourth Council Meeting of the First Session of the Antimony Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association," and the second was the "2017 China Antimony Industry Development Summit Forum."
On the morning of September 19, the "4th Council Meeting of the 1st Session of the Antimony Branch Association under the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association" was held at the Boniel International Hotel in Lengshuijiang. Ding Xuequan, Vice President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Chairman of the Antimony Branch Association, attended the meeting and delivered the work report for the branch's 3rd Council Meeting of the 1st session. The meeting was chaired by Wang Tao, Deputy General Manager of China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. and Executive Vice Chairman of the Antimony Branch Association, along with Ren Bofeng, Secretary-General of the Antimony Branch Association. Participants reviewed the council's work report and approved the draft resolutions on "Supplementary Appointment of Directors" and "Adjustment of Deputy Secretaries-General." Additionally, the meeting discussed the association's financial status, including the income and expenditure of membership fees for 2016.
On September 20, the "2017 China Antimony Industry Development Summit Forum" was held at the Boniel International Hotel in Lengshuijiang. Ding Xuequan, Vice President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Chairman of the Antimony Branch, Zhao Zhishun, General Manager of China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd., and Zhou Jianshe, Executive Deputy Mayor of the Lengshuijiang Municipal People’s Government, attended the event and delivered keynote speeches. The meeting was chaired by Wang Tao, Deputy General Manager of China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. and Executive Vice Chairman of the Antimony Branch; Chen Zhaoyue, Chairman of Yunnan Muli Antimony Industry Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of the Antimony Branch; Gu Yusheng, General Manager of Guizhou Dongfeng Antimony Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of the Antimony Branch; and Gong Jijun, Director of the Antimony Business Division at China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals Holding Co., Ltd. The forum featured 11 distinguished guests who delivered insightful keynote speeches, sharing cutting-edge research on topics such as macroeconomic trends, antimony industry management, antimony mining resources, antimony smelting technologies, heavy metal pollution control, advancements in the plastics processing industry, applications of flame retardants, and antimony market analysis. The presentations were both engaging and informative, earning widespread acclaim from attendees. Overall, the summit was a resounding success.
